Scott Lee Heckman

Mr. Heckman is Village Players' Production Managing Director and the manager of the new Village Players Play Ground. He is a solo performer, director, stage manager and theatre administrator. His critically acclaimed solo show Sir was touted as the best in the 2000 Pride Series at Bailiwick. Recently his show Conditions for Life was presented in Village Players Play Ground. He is most stimulated by solo performance format. He has also directed many plays throughout the Chicago area and has directed over 40 productions in his lifetime. He directed the inaugural production of the Play Ground, Jason Robert Brown's The Last Five Years. He has an MFA in directing but he grew most as an artist in his five years at the Blue Rider performance space.
