John List

Oak Park resident John List, found the Village Players in September 2006.  The supportive, collaborative atmosphere and management's dedication to developing the theater into an Oak Park icon for the performing arts, made it an easy decision for John to join the company.  Being asked to be the house sound designer is a welcome honor and he is looking forward to developing the technical aspects of the theater with every production.John holds a B.A. in audio engineering form Columbia College and has been working in professional audio for more than 25 years.

Area venues he's work include The Vic Theater, Park West, the Auditorium Theater and Soldier Field.  His favorite acts to work with are Pearl Bailey and Louis Bellson with the Peoria Symphony, Tony Bennett, Bonnie Raitt & Robin Trower, to name a few.  Currently you can book my private affair band at rhythm-city.com.
